A riveting documentary about how the Sixties rock star from America became an avant-garde composer-performer in London.
— Philip French, The Guardian

Screened in tribute to Scott Walker (1943 - 2019)

Scott Walker: 30 Century Man, is the story of singer, composer, British-based American expatriate and reclusive cult figure, Scott Walker. After enjoying (or enduring) a period as a bona fide pop idol in the 60s with the Walker Brothers, Walker turned his back on fame (and vice versa) to forge a lonely path as an existential balladeer-cum-increasingly experimental solo artist. Fellow musicians including the likes of Brian Eno, Johnny Marr and David Bowie (who also acted as executive producer) explain his importance, while Walker himself recounts his career in a series of rare interviews.
