We're delighted to able to present a special offer for Tufnell Park Film Club members - half-price tickets to a fundraising screening of Michael Haneke's Amour, introduced by Mark Kermode, in aid of the Tavistock Clinic Foundation at the wonderful Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley.

Full price tickets are £20 but you can book a concession ticket for £10 and just say the magic words 'film club' when you collect your tickets from the box office.

Octogenarians Georges and Anne are retired music teachers whose daughter lives abroad with her family. When Anne suffers a stroke and is left paralyzed on one side of her body, the couple's abiding love for each other is put to the test.

The film won the Palme d’Or in Cannes, the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and two BAFTAs, for Best Actress and Best Film not in the English Language.

Mark Kermode will introduce the screening, followed by panel discussion with Margot Waddell and Laura Mulvey and an audience Q&A.
