Lockdown started a few weeks before we'd scheduled our Spring Quiz at The Lord Palmerston, so given we’d written at least a few of the questions already we’re attempting to resurrect it via the ubiquitous power of Zoom.
Important stuff
The quiz will take place on Sunday 17 May at 7.30pm (UK time). Anyone, anywhere in the world is welcome to join. If you’d like to take part, please either reply to one of our newsletters or email us here by lunchtime on Sunday 17 May. We will then send you a link and password to join the Zoom call.
Can I have an answer sheet?
Of course! Here’s a PDF you can download and print (obvs. there will be no swapping of papers so you can just scribble on any bit of scrap paper).
Can I be in a team?
There is no need to form a team to take part. There will be no prizes. This is just for fun. But if you want to be part of a team we suggest you use a Whatsapp group or some other form of communication to confer with your fellow teammates locked-down elsewhere.
Will there be prizes?
No. We just said that.
Oh. Definitely no Barry Norman Pickled Onions booby prizes, then?
OK. Perhaps if the winner lives within walking distance of Tufnell Park we can deposit a jar on their doorstep.
Will it be fun?
Define “fun”.
Will there be questions about Back to the Future and Nicolas Cage?
